Forces Law

Personal Injury

By its very nature, serving in the Armed Forces is potentially risky. Everyone who attests and puts on a uniform accepts that: indeed, for many of us, it’s one of the attractions.

But there’s a difference between facing danger in the line of duty, and suffering injury because of an accident, or someone else’s negligence. Plus, of course, things can also go wrong in normal everyday life: Service people are human too!

At Forces Law, we’ve helped numerous serving and former Service people and their families pursue claims for injuries they’ve sustained in military accidents. Unlike most personal injury (PI) lawyers, we understand military career and promotion structures, pensions, housing and other issues, often from personal experience of serving. We can then build these considerations into your compensation claim: in many cases, these make up the bulk of any settlement. Over the years, we’ve won compensation for injured Service personnel ranging from a few hundred to several million pounds.

We can also advise you on the likely cost of making a claim, and how best to fund it. Depending on the nature of the claim, we may be able to act for you on a ‘no win, no fee’ basis, so you won’t risk being left out of pocket.

Getting compensation for a military injury can take time, but we’ll be with you all the way. It’s important to note that, by law, there are strict time limits on making claims, so if you think you may have a case, or would like more general advice, please call our helpline NOW: the number is 0845 601 1260, and lines are open 24/7. What our clients say

Thank you for everything you have done!! You have been amazing from start to finish, I just wish I had come to you in the first place as my previous solicitor didn’t even know there were special rules for Armed Forces wives. Biscoes Solicitors.

(Bolt Burdon Kemp.) You have always been professional, meticulous, understanding, adaptable and really gone up and above in all aspect of our case and customer care. Not once during your representation have we had to worry or question your ability, directions, guidance or choice of experts or legal representation, which alleviates some of the worry and burden that litigation brings.

Sgt RLC, Military claims client.

(Wace Morgan Solicitors LLP) Very compassionate, caring and professional service. Very hard to improve on 100%. Good standard of service.

Do not hesitate to use Wolferstans as your solicitors. I have used them now on two occasions and they are quite simply the very best there is. Helpful, friendly, efficient but above all honest with you from start to finish. My most recent case was a triumph and that was down to their dedication and professional handling of the case. In short they saved me my future and I will be eternally grateful.
