Courts Martial
While you’re serving, whether as a regular or reservist, you’re subject to military law. This is entirely separate from the civilian criminal justice system, with serious offences dealt with by the Courts Martial.
Obviously, we hope you never find yourself facing a Court Martial. But if you do, you’re allowed to choose any lawyer you wish to represent you. At Forces Law, we have people you can trust to stand with you all the way.
If your case goes to trial, we have experienced, specialist lawyers who’ve defended serving personnel in Courts Martial all over the world. We can also help you apply for Legal Aid if you’re eligible. Remember, we’re nothing to do with the MoD or your particular Armed Service: we’re totally independent solicitors, and we work with Service people like you as part of our normal private practice.
Please make a note of our helpline number, which is 0239 262 6888 and call us if you find yourself in detention. You can also call this number for more general advice on military criminal law, or email info@forceslaw.com
Our Forces Law helpline 02392 262 6888 is available during the working day.
